Digital Xchange provides a neutral and open space for dialogue to address how digitalisation impacts society. Through public events, it fosters bottom-up dialogue with the population to learn about their hopes, fears and needs. These interactions allow everyone to be heard and bring to light transversal needs and opinions, raise the topic on the public agenda and feed in policy preparation or concrete solutions.

As part of Swiss Digital Days 2023, interested partners and diverse stakeholders (academia, civil society, companies, cantons and cities, NGOs, ect.) can organise and host their own Digital Xchange with our support. The goal of each event lies in raising awareness about current and “hot” digitalisation topics and inviting the population or a specific audience to raise questions and discuss the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly advancing digital future. As a result of these Swiss-wide events, the population’s key hopes, fears and needs are captured.

This format is developed and supported by the digitalswitzerland Foundation. The key requirements for a Digital Xchange include:

• TIMEFRAME: SEPTEMBER - NOVEMBER 2023
• Provide a venue
• Minimum 1-hour-session
• Define a topic of interest
• Summon experts and moderators, supported by digitalswitzerland
